Class A sensor according to UNI11452:2012 for precipitation measurement, with a 400cm2 collecting surface, made of aluminum alloy with an anodized finish for protection against salt and oxidizing agents. It complies with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) standards for environmental monitoring.

The measuring system has a tilting blade support for the stainless steel tipping bucket and a special system to reduce friction, ensuring high accuracy across the whole measuring range. A dedicated test and calibration system keeps the instrument working properly for a long time.

Windbreaks

Ring with windbreak elements to minimize the effects of wind on rainfall measurements. Made of aluminum, with a light, easy-to-assemble structure: a ring about 100cm in diameter and preformed elements that swing freely in the wind while shielding the mouth of the rain gauge. It mounts directly on the rain gauge base and is height adjustable.
