Cold Chain

Vaccines, medicines and chilled food can be lost when the temperature leaves its range, even briefly: a door left ajar, a refrigerator that shuts off at night, a load sitting in the yard. Without a record, there is no way to know whether the product was exposed or for how long.

• air, surface and liquid temperature, with thermistor, thermocouple or platinum probes
• relative humidity and dew point
• location, light and shock in transit
• mean kinetic temperature (MKT)

For shipments, there are single-use loggers in packs, preconfigured, with LED alarms and, on some, a PDF report. For cold rooms and refrigerators, there are USB models with a display and an audible alarm, vaccine kits with a glycol bottle probe and stainless steel versions. For remote follow-up: Wi-Fi with the cloud, SMS alerts, GSM with location, long-range wireless sensors and LoRaWAN. For the pharmaceutical sector, there is software that complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
