The multi-segment soil moisture and temperature profiling probe is a sensor based on the principle of dielectric constant. It dynamically observes soil moisture content and temperature at different levels: this model measures the temperature and moisture of 3 soil segments (5 segments at most).

The probe uses standard Modbus-RTU485 communication, with a range of up to 2000 meters. Its PVC plastic tube shell lets the high-frequency detection wave of nearly 1 GHz pass through and is not affected by salt ions in the soil.

Features

The shell is made of PVC plastic tube. The probe emits a high-frequency detection wave of nearly 1 GHz that passes through the plastic tube and effectively senses the soil environment.
Not affected by salt ions in the soil: agricultural activities such as fertilizers, pesticides and irrigation do not affect the measurement results, and the data is accurate.
