Paired with Acclima's patented soil moisture sensors, which the manufacturer calls the most accurate and stable in the industry, the logger captures:

Storage capacity

Total memory holds 59,392 sensor scans, and each scan can carry up to 5 data points. How much logging time fits depends on the sensor count and the reading interval:

• 10 Acclima moisture sensors read every 30 minutes: up to 4 months of data.
• 5 sensors: 8 months of storage.

To cover a longer period, connect fewer sensors or read them less often.

Once the memory is full, DataSnap Solar keeps logging by overwriting the oldest readings with new ones. Overwritten data are lost for good, so download them within the time window your setup allows.

Connection and SnapView software

The logger connects over USB to a PC running Acclima's SnapView software, which is used to set up captures, synchronize the unit and analyze all the data:

• Manages several DataSnap Solar units and retrieves real-time sensor data from each of them.
• Displays data as a table or a chart.
• Exports data easily to other analysis applications.
• Runs on any Windows™ PC (XP or later).
