Pulse Counting

Electricity and water meters with pulse outputs can be read remotely with a wireless pulse counter, which counts how many times a contact closes and logs the count per interval. Loggers with a digital channel also count pulses from flow sensors or record the time of events, such as a door opening.

Depending on the model, data travels over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular or Ethernet to software, the cloud or a SCADA system.
