There are loggers with thermocouple inputs or external probes, stainless steel versions with IP67 protection against water, impact and corrosion, and compact loggers for higher temperatures. In cold rooms and storage areas, wireless sensors and Wi-Fi loggers send readings to the cloud, and monitors send SMS alerts when the temperature leaves the set range.

For refrigerated loads, there are single-use loggers sold in packs and GSM loggers that report where the load is.
