Power

Runs on one AA alkaline battery (Zn/Mn02) or one AA lithium battery (Li/FeS2). At 20°C/68°F, expect up to 7 years on alkaline and up to 10 years on lithium. The operating temperature is -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F) on alkaline and -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F) on lithium; operating humidity spans 0% to 100%.

Build

ASA plastic housing with a GORE membrane, weighing 59g (2.1oz) with the alkaline battery or 51g (1.8oz) with the lithium one. CE and FCC marked, with encrypted data transmission. Compatible base stations: Aranet PRO and Aranet MINI. Supplied with 1 AA alkaline battery and a string.

Notes

• Best accuracy is achieved between 20% and 80% RH and between 5°C and 60°C (41°F and 140°F). Long periods outside these ranges can shift the relative humidity reading, and recovery is slow.
• Aranet PRO v1.3.2 handles 1, 2, 5 and 10 min intervals; Aranet MINI v3.20 handles 2, 5 and 10 min.
