LR35 IoT Data Loggers for LoRaWAN Networks

Reference
LR35

Delta OHM's LR35 loggers join public or private LoRaWAN networks with little effort and come preprogrammed, so measurement data reaches you directly. They work with a wide choice of sensors, readily take in third-party measurements, and their logging function always keeps a backup copy of the data.

Overview

Local logging, long-range transmission

The Delta OHM LR35 series communicates over LoRaWAN®, a technology built for cases where data has to travel far: it covers distances of up to several kilometers with extremely low power consumption, to the point that one battery can last up to 4 years.

Rather than sensors that transmit straight over LoRa, Delta OHM chose data loggers with LoRa communication. That makes a real difference: if a transmission fails, the measurements stay stored in the device and can still be retrieved. It is why the LR35 series suits such a broad range of applications.

Where it fits

The LR35 loggers are a strong solution wherever measurements must run without external power and high-speed transmission is not needed, for example:

  • Smart cities, smart buildings, air quality
  • Agriculture, solar, soil
  • Environmental conditions
  • Storage, production and transport of food or medicines
  • Solar farms, solar energy, weather conditions

System architecture

The range includes loggers with sensors for the most common general measurements: temperature, humidity, differential pressure, CO2 and PM. For outdoor use there are dedicated IP67 loggers that connect to pyranometers, rain gauges and soil moisture sensors.

Any third-party measurement can also be brought onto LoRa, as long as it has a standard output: 4-20mA, 0-10V or Modbus-RTU.
