LPUVA01 UVA Irradiance Probe

The LPUVA01 reports irradiance (W/m2): the radiant flux (W) crossing a surface divided by that surface's area (m2), within the UVA band (315 nm ... 400 nm).

A new type of photodiode makes it blind to visible and infrared light.

Calibration

The probe is calibrated with the 365 nm line of a Xe-Hg lamp, passed through a special interferential filter, and measurement is made by comparison with primary standards assigned to the Delta OHM Metrological Laboratory.

Where it is used

Use it wherever the output of ultraviolet lamps has to be monitored, for example:

• polymerization of resins and adhesives;
• tanning lamps.
