Overview

CO₂ readings appear right on the Aranet4's e-ink screen, next to a matching color indicator, and sound alarms can be configured to suit you.

Measurement relies on Nondispersive infrared (NDIR) sensing, the most precise technology for accurate CO₂ values. Because the e-ink display draws so little power, the batteries (2xAA) last up to 2 years.

This sensor links only to the Aranet PRO base station.

Key data

  • Measured variables: CO2 (carbon dioxide), temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure
  • Line-of-sight range: up to 3 km
  • For indoor use
  • Transmitter power: 14 dBm
  • Readings sent every 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes
  • Battery life: up to 2 years
  • Protection class: IP20
  • Size: 70x70x24 mm

Getting the best accuracy

Keep the device between 10°C and 40°C (50°F to 104°F) and between 20% and 60% RH, non-condensing. Running it outside those ranges for long periods can shift the readings, and recovery takes time.
