Used with a current clamp, this standalone data logger measures and stores up to 127,232 AC and DC current readings over a measuring range of 0 to 1000A DC (0 to 723A for AC). In “energy monitoring” mode, the data is converted into power, energy (using a user-defined voltage value) and cost (using a unit energy cost entered by the user).

The millivolt measurement mode allows direct voltage measurement up to 1V DC (700mV AC).

Overview

To set up the logger and view downloaded data, simply connect it to a PC’s USB port and use the free software. Stored data can then be graphed, printed and exported to other applications.

The high-contrast LCD can show a range of current, power, energy and cost information. At the touch of a button, the user can cycle between the most recent, maximum and minimum measured values. The data logger runs on 2 user-replaceable AA batteries.
