What it does

The kit tracks soil moisture content and soil temperature, reporting the reading of every installed probe once an hour. Each probe can be calibrated from the icloud platform for five different soil types according to texture, which improves accuracy. Conductivity and pH of the irrigation water can also be measured at the emission point, so fertilization frequency and doses can be set more precisely.

With the pulse counter fitted in the irrigation pipe, you can see exactly how soil moisture responds to the flow rate: the device sends a message for every water pulse it measures (1,10,100 l). Air temperature and relative humidity are followed as well and, through the icloud platform, they give you potential evapotranspiration, crop transpiration periods, the thermal integral of the crop, disease and pest prevention, the effectiveness of phytosanitary treatments, the best timing for applications and the dew point.
