28WDS6 Compact Weather Station
The 28WDS6 is a compact weather station with a sturdy, durable all-in-one design that is easy to install and suited to every kind of weather. With no moving parts, it needs no maintenance.
It measures atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure, wind speed and direction, and precipitation. Communication uses the MODBUS protocol over a standard RS485/RS232 output, and an electronic compass, GPS and BeiDou global positioning module can be added.

Overview
All six main meteorological elements are measured at the same time: atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure, wind speed, wind direction and precipitation. Air temperature, humidity and pressure come from standard industrial probes housed inside the radiation shield, which provide high precision and a fast response.
Adding the GPS global positioning module and the electronic compass gives a good indication of latitude, longitude and relative speed, so the station can work out both real and virtual wind speed and direction. That makes it especially suitable for moving platforms such as vehicles or special boats.
