Seven Sensor makes solar sensors. HenSistemas offers the 3S-SMS-MB, an automatic soiling sensor that measures how much energy a photovoltaic plant loses to the dirt that builds up on its panels.
It compares the irradiance of two sensors, one left to get dirty like the panels and one cleaned automatically every day, and passes the result to the monitoring system over Modbus RTU. It suits commercial, industrial, rooftop and utility-scale projects.
