ODOS-5000 Optical Dissolved Oxygen Sensor (4-20mA and RS485)

Installation
Through the built-in 4-20mA current interface in 2-wire technology, or through the digital Modbus RTU interface, ODOS connects directly to a PLC or a process control system. The integrated SCS interface makes it downward compatible with classical sensors that use an electrolyte solution, so existing plants can move to modern optical measurement technology without any trouble.
Maintenance
The sensor cap is robust and easy to exchange, and the sensors leave the factory pre-calibrated and ready to use, which keeps maintenance time and costs down.
Versions
For fish farming and aquaculture there is a particularly robust submersible version with bite protection, usable down to a water depth of 50m. The sensor can also be supplied with an IP68 connector plug or with a fixed cable in different lengths. For fitting into a probe holder, a 1" process connector is available as an option, and the mounting set (order no. 1682) lets models 5000, 5001 and 5002 be mounted in the ODOS probe holder.
