NovusRHT-AIR-8804400110
Transducer for ambient air that measures temperature and, depending on configuration, humidity as % RH, g/m³, g/kg or dew point (DP °C). It offers temperature ranges of -30...+70°C, -20...+80°C, 0...+50°C and 0...+100°C, a 0-10 V or 4-20 mA output with changeover contact, and a heating function that guards against condensation.

The RAFT/A picks up the temperature of the ambient air and, as an option, relative humidity, absolute humidity, mixing ratio or dew point. The measured value is delivered as a linear 0-10 V or 4-20 mA output signal.
It can be fitted with a potential-free changeover contact, assignable to either of the two measured values, and with a backlit display. Through a menu, the display content rotates in 90° steps and shows the measured value, the configured switching threshold, the relay state, the MIN/MAX values for the chosen intervals (1 h / 6 h / 12 h / 24 h) and more. The second variable, besides temperature, is picked by DIP switch from 4 parameters: % RH, g/m³, g/kg and dp.
At very high humidity (95...99% RH), a heating function protects the sensor. If relative humidity stays above the factory-set threshold for more than 10 minutes, the sensor is heated for a limited time, dried and kept free of condensation. Throughout heating and the temperature balancing phase that follows, the output holds the last value measured before heating started.
A screw-on sintered filter keeps contamination away from the sensor very effectively, and an offset controller allows fine calibration on site when needed.
